You walk in and someone's glad you did

The first thing you notice is the smell of coffee and the sound of people actually talking. Someone at the door knows your name by the second visit. There's no sign-in gauntlet and no one sizing you up — just a warm room and an open seat.

Coffee, food, and finding your people

The counter is free. Grab a drink and something to eat, and drift toward whoever looks interesting. The first half of the night is loose on purpose: play a game, join a table, or just soak it in. Regulars make a point of pulling in first-timers.

Live music and open mic

Local youth musicians take the small stage, and the open mic is genuinely open — poetry, a song you wrote, a stand-up bit you've been sitting on. It's supportive, never a competition.

A five-minute message

Midway through, everything pauses for a short, honest talk — about five minutes. Real life, real questions, no lecture. Then it's back to hang time.

Hang time, then home

The back half is pure community: more music, more games, more conversation. Adults are around the whole time to keep things safe and welcoming. You leave knowing you'll be missed if you don't come back.

The whole thing is free, it's for ages 16 to 22, and you can show up exactly as you are.
